Function

You have the possibility to export your recorded data in Halocline Performance as tabular report, so you can use the values outside the software.

The report contains the produced numbers, data and facts from the recording, like the calibration and the recording data of the motion sequences. Use the data for further decision-making (e.g. comparison of variants) or for passing on information elsewhere (e.g. to support time analyses).

Instructions

Exporting the tabular report

First select the desired recording in VR and then click on "Export Report" in the "Play" menu at the bottom right.

You can find the exported file on your computer under ...\Documents\Halocline\Reports.

Tabular Report

The exported data are divided into three categories in the report:

• Lists of the individual actions in the process
  • Microsoft Excel report sheet 1 ("Process")
• Lists of the individual ergonomically critical movements
  • Microsoft Excel report sheet 2 ("Ergonomics")
• Summary of the process and ergonomics
  • Microsoft Excel report sheet 3 ("Total")

By listing the individual actions, the parallelism of (unfavorable) movements and process steps becomes clear.

Information in the Report

Lists individual actions in the process - Microsoft Excel report sheet 1 ("Process")

Information at the top left area:

The top, left area of the report shows the information and settings that directly affect the exported recording.

Information above, right area:

The upper, right area of the report shows a summary of the motion data. Here you get a quick overview of times and distances of the walking and reaching distances. Furthermore, under "Observations" you get the sum of all ergonomically critical movements.

Information lower area:

The lower area lists the individual activities and actions. Each line represents an action within the recorded process. Each action has a start and an end time, a description of the action and a hand assignment with which the action was executed. Additionally, for every action, the name and the weight of the object used are documented. 

Currently, the following activities are distinguished in the report:

• Placing: 
  consisting of grasping (start time) and releasing (end time) objects
• Joining:
  consisting of grasping (start time) and releasing (end time) objects that have been joined to another object
• Moving:
  consisting of running (start time) and standing (end time) teleported paths
• Resource:
  consisting of load carrier, tool and component. Objects that cannot be assigned to a category are identified as a part.

The action overview provides a color-coded overview of parallel running processes for this purpose:

• yellow marking symbolizes the left hand

• blue marking symbolizes the right hand

• pink marking symbolizes the head or walking path.

Lists of individual unergonomic actions - Microsoft Excel report sheet 2 ("Ergonomics")

The ergonomics evaluation is structured similarly to the process representation. In the upper part, you find on the one hand the summary of the recording data and on the other hand, the sum of all recognized ergonomically critical motions.

The identified ergonomically problematic motions, flagged in the report under "Observations" correspond to the total number of actions with potentially negative ergonomic evaluation identified during the recording.

Currently, ergonomically critical movements included in the report are:

• Arm above shoulder:
  consisting of raising arm (start time) and lowering arm (end time).
• Bending down; arm below the knee:
  consisting of bending forward (start time) and straightening up (end time).
  
  

Lists individual actions in the process with ergonomics - Microsoft Excel report sheet 3 ("Total")

The total view is a summary of the views "Process" (report sheet 1) and "Ergonomics" (report sheet 2). Here you will find the action overview as well as the ergonomic evaluation as a parallel running action.

Tip:

Use the reports to evaluate your different variants by comparing the individual walking distances and checking the ergonomically critical motions. By comparing the values, you can see directly which variant is more appropriate.
