With the Assemble tool, you can test your product assembly by easily joining components. It helps you try out assembly sequences from pre-assembly to final assembly.
Instructions
Menu > Tools > Assemble
Dip the sphere on your hand into the object until it turns blue.
Hold the trigger to move the object.
Press the touchpad/joystick to the left to change the gripping mode.
Gripping Mode
You can switch between two modes:
Individual Components → All components can be grabbed individually.
Assembly → All joined components can be grabbed together as a group.
Snap Function
A component can have multiple snap positions. The possible positions are displayed as small yellow dots. When the component is close enough to a snap position, a transparent preview of the component appears in its installed position.
Note:
You can assemble with both hands. You can hold one component in one hand and use the other hand to assemble another component onto the one you're holding.
