Function
In Halocline you have the possibility to import your hall environment or hall architecture in glTF format. This gives you a realistic image of your (factory) hall including steel beams, windows or ventilation pipes.
Instructions
What is glTF?
glTF is a special format that describes VR & AR scenes. Typically, it includes geometric information as well as light sources and the like. It is a standardized file format for 3D scenes and models and is supported by many CAD and 3D modeling applications (possibly with plug-ins). So you have the possibility to convert and adapt the desired hall environments in-house or via a service provider in the future. After the conversion you can use them directly in Halocline.
How do I prepare the data?
You can find instructions for data preparation here.
Feel free to pass this link on to the person who prepares the data. The preparation takes place before the import of Halocline and in third party software and is not a feature of Halocline.
How do I import a glTF file?
If you want to add a new gITF file for the hall environment, you can import it into Halocline as follows:
- Open Halocline
- On the left side of the start screen, select the desired store floor from the drop-down menu.
- Open the "three-dot" menu next to the store floor name.
- Click on "Change Dimension" and select "Shopfloor environment" there.
- Select the desired file and confirm with "OK".
Your shop floor environment has now been successfully imported.
