This update puts an end to the hassle: Organize your library, export materials to Excel, convert CAD data to almost any format - all right within Halocline.
Interactive Library on the Desktop
The library can now be managed in the Desktop app. Create collections and folders, rename them, move your content conveniently via drag & drop, and export entire collections with one click. Also included: improved search, right-click context menus, and the new "Unsorted" collection for unassigned content. Public collections are protected against accidental changes.
Public Library Directly in Halocline
The public library is now available directly in Halocline: all content appears as a Public Collection right in your library – the detour via 
Halocline - Public library for 3D library items is no longer needed. We've also significantly expanded its scope, in particular with machines as customizable placeholder objects.
Material Export
Export your materials as an Excel file – for an entire shopfloor, a work area, or a single variant. The overview includes all load carriers with assigned material. Optionally, you can compare two variants directly against each other.
New CAD Export
We have rebuilt the CAD export from the ground up. Your layouts now export in the following formats: STEP, JT, IGES, Parasolid, SAB, STL, 3MF, FBX, glTF/GLB, OBJ, U3D, VRML, and USD. Thanks to BRep support, exported models are more precise. STEP and JT are included in every Pro license. Additional formats can be unlocked as an add-on.
Library in Layout
The library in Layout has been adjusted accordingly: you now see your objects organized in folders and collections, can access the public library directly and find tools, load carriers and reach distance avatars. Users of the MTM add-on can now also change parameters directly on library objects.
MTM Data Selection
Data maintenance has become easier for users of the MTM add-on. You can now select MTM values from a list and set them directly on library objects.
Access Rights for Cloud Data
Halocline Cloud users now have the option to set access to shared shopfloor data on a per-user basis. Contact helpdesk@halocline.io if you'd like to use this option.
New Languages
Halocline Desktop is now also available in Italian, Spanish, and Romanian.
Fixes and Improvements
CAD exports are now in meters instead of millimeters. We've also fixed a precision issue with point clouds and made many other small improvements.
