In Halocline, you have the option to create backup copies of your entire data set. This prevents data loss in case a problem occurs. A backup copy is also useful if you want to transfer your data completely from one computer to another.
Scope of the Backup Copy
- Halocline Assembly CAD Files
- Shopfloors with all contents of the Workspaces and Variants (incl. previous versions)
- Motion Recordings from Performance
- Exports and Reports
- Halocline Layout & Performance Settings
- Notes
- Library Elements
- KLTs
- Grasping Spaces
Manage Backup Copies
Backup copies are managed in the Info menu. To do this, click Info (red arrow) and the Data tab.
1. Create
In the window that opens, select a storage location and click the Create button. Depending on the amount and size of the data, the process may take several minutes.
2. Restore
In the Restore Backup window, select the storage location of the backup copy you want to restore. All backup copies created in Halocline use the *.halobak file format.
To continue, type the word RESTORE in the field below for confirmation and click the Replace button.
