How Does the Login at Halocline Work?
The login process is designed to be intuitive and is completed in just a few steps:
- Open Halocline
- Enter your registered email address and your password in your default browser
If you have forgotten your credentials, the „Forgot Password" function is available to you. It guides you through a quick process to recover your account.
How Long Does My Session Stay Active Before I Have to Log In Again?
As long as you actively use the software, you stay logged in for up to 90 days. Your session is automatically renewed in the background – you do not need to log in again during this time. Only after a longer period of inactivity or once the 90 days have elapsed will you be prompted to log in again.
How Secure Is My Login Data?
Halocline places great importance on your security. Your login data is transmitted encrypted and stored in secure databases. In addition, the system automatically checks whether your password is sufficiently strong and recommends the use of password managers.
Which Identity Provider Is Used for the Login?
Authentication at Halocline is handled by Halocline via Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) as the identity provider. Your login data is managed and verified there – this means you benefit from Microsoft's security and authentication standards.
How Do I Best Protect My Account?
To protect your account in the best possible way, we recommend the following practices:
- Use a strong password: A combination of letters, numbers, and special characters offers the best security.
- Do not share your credentials: Never share your password with third parties.
