Function
In Halocline Layout & Performance you have the possibility to create or import your hall environment or hall architecture. In this way you get a realistic image of your (production) hall including steel girders, windows or even ventilation pipes. There are several possibilities to import hall environments into Halocline:
- Import shopfloor environment as gITF format, or
- Create shopfloor environment with boxes.
Instructions
You have two options how to use your shopfloor environment in Halocline:
1. Import shopfloor environment as glTF format.
If you already have 3D data of your shopfloor, then this is the way to display it in detail in Halocline.
You can assign a hall environment to each shopfloor in Halocline. This will be displayed in VR instead of the default environment. You can't change it in VR.
You can find detailed instructions for importing here: Import shopfloor environment
2. Create shopfloor environment with boxes
If you don't have a hall environment or only parts available, this is not an obstacle. You have the advantage in Halocline Layout & Performance that you can create a lot yourself even without data in Halocline.
With the tool "Create Box" you have the possibility to build your own shopfloor environment by simply creating columns, paths or walls with boxes. Furthermore, the Halocline Content Library contains some useful elements, like grid doors, which you can import into the Halocline library and then place in your hall.
It is best to create your own work area for the hall environment and build the environment in it. You can use 2D templates or existing 3D data and build your boxes based on them. You can find out exactly how this works and more tips for rebuilding the actual state here.
